JIMJAMPRO REAL ESTATE AND AIRBNB

FAQ

When will my order be ready? Pending unforeseen circumstances, JimJamPro endeavours to deliver images to you, the client, no later than 5pm the next business day. Videos may take up to three business days, and Floor Plans up to forty eight hours. Note: Photography done on Friday may not be ready until Monday.

How do I pay? Once the agreed upon work is completed by JimJamPro you’ll receive an invoice via email. You’ll have 7 days to pay the balance. Photographs, Aerials, Floor Plans, or any deliverables, will be made available to you once payment is made, unless a payment schedule or supplier contract is agreed upon. JimJamPro has the right to withhold media when terms of service have not been met.

How do I prepare my property for photographs? All properties should be ready for photography, or other services, when a JimJamPro (JJP) employee arrives at the scheduled time. Although JJP assists with placing and moving small items to get the ‘best shot’, it’s up to you, the client, to arrange cleaning and movement of items, prior to the scheduled time. An additional fee may be applied if the property is not ready for photography resulting in a longer shooting schedule and/or the photographer having to act as a removalist or stager. Take advantage of our handy ‘Prepare Your Home for Real Estate Photography’ checklist, and arrive prior to the photographer to insure the property is ready. Confirm with the owners or tenants well before the scheduled booking, check the weather or other conditions that may prevent the works. It is best practice to have owners and tenants away from the property during the booking time. Scroll down to see samples of a well presented property.

What do I get for my money? JimJamPro provides a professional service with high quality results. Photography and video include best angles to highlight your property for sale, rental, or hire (we love it when you suggest shots, angles and ideas as well). Note that JimJamPro can only work within the conditions available at the time of the booking. Furniture or item removal will incur a fee starting at $15 (with the exception of scuff marks on walls, small item removal, or any items that are deemed easy to remove by photo editor). Although we provide complimentary sky replacements on photographs and aerial stills, we are subject to conditions when shooting video. Still images of the surrounding area (local parks, cafes etc.) will incur a separate fee, unless JimJamPro provides a ‘stock image’ (this will be included in the package chosen. e.g. You purchased a Short Shoot of 8 images. JimJamPro will provide 7 from the property and the ‘stock image’ as the 8th). We provide complimentary labels and outlines on aerials and selected still images. We treat each client as an individual, customising service to meet your, or your agency’s, needs.

Can I get a discount? JimJamPro is already one of the more affordable Real Estate and AirBnb photography services in the Gold Coast area. We provide competitive pricing, quality products, and outstanding service. Due to overhead costs (equipment and maintenance, insurance, associated vehicle costs, and other expenses) we follow the price list provided to via clickable link at the start of our relationship. The work doesn’t start and finish at the property, the editor may spend hours on your project after. But, JimJamPro offers frequent discounted packages (keep checking our website for updates) and will, now and then, provide bonus images and content to our loyal clients. JimJamPro is happy to work out a retainer fee at a discounted price (terms to be agreed upon).

What if I have to cancel? It happens, and JimJamPro is sympathetic to circumstances beyond your control. We are a business that relies on scheduling in clients, and organise other JimJamPro projects around your request to accomodate the booking. Thus we have put a policy in place. Cancellations within 24 hours of your booking (up to 3 hours prior) will incur a $50 fee, up to 3 hours prior will incur $100 fee. Cancellations onsite, or enroute to the property, will incur a $150 fee or the ‘total quoted price’ for the booking (whichever is less). Any work that is already complete by JimJamPro will require payment in full (*cancellation fees are exclusive of GST). Rescheduling the work outside the ‘cancellation timeframe’ may incur a smaller fee. Please perform due diligence to insure the booking goes ahead, and contact JimJamPro asap to discuss any issues. Note: Asking JimJamPro to hold a time and date for a ‘possible booking’ on your end, constitutes a booking on our end, and will incur cancellation fees.

What if JimJamPro cancels? Although it has never happened, at the time of writing this, unforeseen circumstances may prevent JimJamPro from attending the booking. If this occurs, JimJamPro will provide either one complimentary aerial, one complimentary short shoot, or a discount to quoted services upon rebooking. Free items or discounts, due to cancellation, will not be provided by JimJamPro if the photographer believes the shoot is unsafe (due to weather or working conditions), property not ready to be photographed, a danger to equipment (heavy rain, high winds, lightening, unsafe surroundings), or there is threat of physical or verbal abuse by either you or your clients. Remember, it’s up to you to check the conditions prior to the photographers arrival.

Do you charge any other fees? The short answer is sometimes. If you request additional work (e.g. digital furniture removal), the property isn’t ready and the photographer has to assist in moving items/furniture that could have been moved, or removed, prior, cancellations, or the photographer has to travel outside their designated area (over 30km from Robina) a fee will be applied.

Who owns the images and video? You, the client, are paying for the right to use the ‘final version’ of the images, to sell or promote a particular property. Many people don’t realise that under the Australian Copyright Act 1968 (Cth) the photographer owns the rights to those images, unless a specific contract is put in place. Under the Copyright Act, the client should pay the photographer additional fees if they decide to use the images to sell the property again at a later date, or use them in marketing or advertising unrelated to the original agreement. Although JimJamPro stores the images (including videos) for a couple months after, it is the responsibility of the client to arrange proper storage. JimJamPro retains the right to use the images to promote and market its’ services. Contact JimJamPro to arrange ownership of these images at an additional cost. Please read the REIQ Copyrights and Wrongs article for more information.
